I was struggling hard
My life was falling apart
And I didn’t know what to do

Broken open from inside
My grief I tried to hide
From everyone but you

Red rocks stained with tears
The unknown my greatest fear
And you gently just let me be

In silence you held space
100 miles I couldn’t face
Because going home wasn’t easy
